Lessmüller Lasertechnik GmbH is proud to have established its first worldwide subsidiary, Lessmueller Laser Technology (Shanghai), Ltd, China. Having already achieved initial successes in China via a distributor, existing and future customers can now be served even better and more intensively with the branch office. Lessmüller Lasertechnik is a leading supplier of sensors for laser welding in the automotive and electronics industries, as well as in medical technology. The new subsidiary Lessmueller Laser Technology (Shanghai) Ltd. will take over the exclusive distribution of products and services in China. The new managing director Leo Wu was already sales manager at the former sales partner and knows the applications and markets with the focus on automotive engineering, automotive components, batteries and electromobility very well.

“China has become an important market for Lasermüller Lasertechnik. We are therefore delighted with the opportunities presented by having our own subsidiary. This will allow us to continue to follow the ever-changing demands of the market,” says Eckhard Lessmüller.
