Lessmüller Lasertechnik GmbH was founded in 1990 as a technology company. Under the leadership of company founder Eckhard Lessmüller and Managing Director Christian Truckenbrodt, the company has gradually developed into the market leader for quality monitoring systems in laser welding processes and laser welding optics. By using photodiodes, camera systems with controlled extraneous light and optical coherence tomography, we can offer our customers the appropriate solution for their tasks and thus contribute to the precise quality assurance of laser welding processes and laser welding monitoring.
Many years of experience in the field of process monitoring have a great influence on the development of our fully automatic quality assurance systems.
Lessmüller systems are used across all continents by well-known manufacturers such as BMW, Daimler and General Motors.

Bright spots with tradition
Lessmüller Lasertechnik GmbH was founded in 1990 for the industrial implementation of a patent for the active stabilization and optimization of laser resonators. The development was successfully completed in a large international research and development project.
Subsequently, various projects for laser material processing, metrology and laser medicine were realized.
Since 2000 Lessmüller Lasertechnik is engaged in process welding monitoring of laser welding optics applications of micro and macro processing.
With the idea and development of a two-dimensional, illuminated observation and automatic monitoring of welding monitoring processes, the continued strong growth of the company begins.
