The OCTSCAN 2.5 welding optics system from Lessmüller Lasertechnik combines remote laser welding and the latest generation of OCT analytics for precise seam tracking, real-time measurement of the welding depth, seam inspection and pinpoint hairpin welding. OCTSCAN 2.5 enables exact positioning of the welding beam and ensures that a precise weld seam and depth is achieved even with wobbling movements. Thanks to the fast online correction of the welding position and the measurement of the component position before welding, the welding process is optimized. The system provides detailed topography data of the weld seam and supports the long-term analysis of process stability for optimum quality assurance.
