Garching / Munich, 27 August 2026 – Blackbird Robotersysteme GmbH, the leading provider of technological solutions for robot-assisted laser welding, and Lessmüller Lasertechnik GmbH, a leading manufacturer of quality control systems for industrial welding processes, are now joining forces under the new company name iQLASE.

Building on the already very close collaboration between the two sister companies, both of which are part of TecInvest Holding AG is now set to become a single, powerful company. The range of services offered by both companies complements each other perfectly, and the benefit for customers is clear: in future, there will be just one point of contact for a variety of applications and markets, offering a broader range of solutions and greater expertise than before.
